Why AppHipMom loves it:   Consolidates the status of multiple deliveries

Christmas has got to be the busiest time of the year for post offices and courier services.  After spending hours looking for the perfect gift, we naturally want to be sure the intended recipient received it.  Parcel is not only great to use year round (on-line shopping anyone?), but also at this time of year where gifts are being shipped to loved ones from all over the world.

By adding the tracking number or scanning the barcode of your package, Parcel will immediately track the status of the delivery.  With over 70 delivery services included such as Canada Post, United States Parcel Service, Fedex, Purolator, UPS and others, chances are good that Parcel’s got you covered.

A status description along with date and time stamp will tell you the whereabouts of your package.  You can even view the delivery on a map.  The updates are pretty much in real time.  I recently had a delivery and I checked the app soon after it arrived and Parcel already provided an update saying it was delivered and left at the door with no signature required.

The free version will track up to 3 deliveries at a time.  An upgrade for $1.99 is in order should you wish to track up to 30 deliveries or to receive push notifications.

Parcel is not fancy or pretty, it simply does what it’s suppose to.  So, stop wasting time tracking parcels from courier websites and download Parcel on your iDevice so that you can keep any eye on your deliveries no matter how far away you are from home.
