Day 12: 12 Days of Christmas are from Songs Leonard Cohen and Foster the People

Day 12:

iTunes gives us 2 freebies on this last day of the 12 Days of Christmas. The first are 5 tracks from Canadian songwriter, poet, writer, musician Leonard Cohen’s Live in Fredericton EP.

The second is the Pumped Up Kicks track from indie band Foster the People.

Day 11:

Miss Spider's Tea Party

Day 11 of the 12 Days of Christmas is for the kids. Today’s gift contains 3 versions of Miss Spider’s Tea Party book.  There’s the  iPhone/iPod Touch version and the iPad version in both English and French.

Day 10:

Hell's Kitchen VS

If you’re a fan of Gordan Ramsay and his pressure cooker show Hell’s Kitchen, then you’ll enjoy today’s treat. It’s team Red vs Blue as you’re put through the paces in Hell’s Kitchen VS as the chef master himself Ramsay will comment and score.

Day 9:

Hedley is one of my favourite Canadian bands so I’m thrilled that iTunes is giving us 4 Hedley songs and a video on day 9 of the 12 Days of Christmas. You will most likely recognize “For the Nights I Can’t Remember” and “Perfect”.

Day 8:

Being that Canada is a crazy hockey nation and this is iTunes Canada, Day 8’s gift of the Icebreaker Hockey app is appropriately fitting. Test your skills one on one as you attempt to deke out your opponents and show off your skating finesse as you make your way to the net.  Hockey fans should enjoy this one.

Make sure you follow the 12 Days of Christmas link from iTunes or partner links for this download as there is a free (lite) version of the app as well.  You don’t want to download the lite version by mistake.

Icebreaker Hockey

Day 7:

On this first day of 2012, iTunes first gift to us is the Best in Travel 2012 book by Lonely Planet. So, if you’re in need of ideas of where to travel in 2012, this would be a great place to start!

The second gift are 3 Francophone singles from Kain.

Happy New Year!

Day 6:

We’re officially half way through our 12 days of freebies. Day 6 is the audiobot remix of the Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO and the music video.  Perfect for partying and bringing in the new year.

Day 5:

Day 5 brings us 4 television dramas featuring pilots from Damages, Unforgettable, The Big C and Unjustified.  All are available in English in high or standard definition and standard definition only in French.

Day 4:

Day 4 brings a free HD movie rental for the film The Art of Flight. The film follows American snowboarder Travis Rice and his friends as they take their snowboard tricks to the mountains.  The cinematography is suppose to be spectacular.

As this is a movie rental, you have 30 days to view the film and 48 hours to complete the viewing once you start the film.

Day 3:

Kelly Clarkson’s(love her!) hit single Mr. Know It All and music video.

Day 2:

Homegrown TV Pilots:

On a side note, Haven is a great show!
