Why AppHipMom loves it: DIY photo book in 5 minutes

We are taking more photos than ever before thanks to our continued obsession with having our mobile devices on us 24/7. So what do you do with all those photos? Create a photo book of course! Let me say that I don’t have a creative bone in my body. I don’t have the patience to work with a program to layout my pages, etc. I want to create my photo book quickly and easily.

The Impressed Photo Books app for the iPad was truly so simple to use with its clean, modern interface. The app can pull in photos from the iPad, iPhone, iPhoto, PC, Dropbox, Flickr, Facebook and Instagram. For the uninspired, Impressed will even pull photo stories together for you based on your photostream with its “Magic Start” feature. If you rather do it alone, adding photos is as easy as drag and drop with clean, modern layouts.

Each photo book comes with its own digital version accessible via QR code. The digital version allows you to record a message or comment, in essence, tell your story. This is a fantastic idea, especially since adding text is not an option (exception being the front cover title).

I was really impressed with the quality of the photo book itself. The 6×8, 20 page hardcover photo book is made with premium matte photo paper that can display up to 40 photos. The Impressed Photo Book is the kind of book you want to show off, strategically placed in your living room for visitors to look at. That’s how good the quality of this photo book is. It makes for an excellent gift idea for friends and family alike. And you can even proudly say you “made it yourself”.

The book costs $29.00 for 20 pages with additional pages at $1.99 each. Shipping and handling extra.
